Learning Outcome

1️⃣ Recognize ways to keep the building and physical premises safe and in good condition to prevent injury.
2️⃣ Identify a plan to prepare for emergencies such as a natural disaster, missing child, loss of utilities, and other threatening incidents.
3️⃣ List the steps for handling and storing hazardous materials and reducing bio-contaminants.

There is no prerequisite for this training course.

Requirements

▪️ While tablets, smartphones and other mobile devices may allow for some completion of coursework, they are not guaranteed to work in all areas. Please ensure you have access to a desktop or laptop to complete coursework.

▪️ Must have internet connection. High speed broadband access (LAN, Cable or DSL) is highly recommended for the optimal learning experience.

Criteria to Earn Credit

This is a certificate program. Upon completion participants will earn a certificate of completion. To earn credit for completing this training course, participants should read all material, take notes, and complete all the required assignments.

There is a final assessment at the end of this course. Participants will have two attempts to take the final assessment and must pass with a 70% or higher to earn credit.

Course Description:

This training course teaches essential safety measures to maintain the building and premises, preventing injuries. Participants will learn to develop emergency preparedness plans for natural disasters, missing children, utility losses, and other threats. The course also covers proper handling and storage of hazardous materials and strategies to reduce bio-contaminants.
