Learning Outcome

1️⃣ Understand the importance of physical development in infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and its impact on their overall well-being and growth.
2️⃣ Identify the key physical development milestones and motor skills children typically achieve during the early childhood years.
3️⃣ Explore strategies and activities that support and stimulate physical development, including gross motor skills and fine motor skills.
4️⃣ Recognize the role of sensory-perceptual skills in physical development and their significance in enhancing a child’s understanding and interaction with the environment.
5️⃣ Understand the importance of promoting health and well-being in young children’s physical development and identify strategies and practices that contribute to their overall well-being.
6️⃣ Develop inclusive practices and strategies for supporting children with special needs in their physical development.

There is no prerequisite for this training course.

Requirements

Criteria to Earn Credit

This is a certificate program. Upon completion participants will earn a certificate of completion. To earn credit for completing this training course, participants should read all material, take notes, and complete all the required assignments.

There is a final assessment at the end of this course. Participants will have two attempts to take the final assessment and must pass with a 70% or higher to earn credit.
