CCDF Health and Safety certificate program was designed to meet the requirements for the Health and Safety Training for providers who serve children. Learning objectives includes:

1️⃣ Clarify prevention and control of infectious diseases (including immunization)
2️⃣ Recognize and report child abuse and neglect.
3️⃣ Practice preventing sudden infant death syndrome
4️⃣ Identify ways to prevention of shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma
5️⃣ Demonstrate the correct way to administrate medication
6️⃣ Recognize an emergency due to food and allergic reactions and respond
7️⃣ Describe the correct way to handle and storage hazardous materials and the appropriate way to dispose of bio-contaminants.
8️⃣ Recognize how to safely transport children.
9️⃣ Observe areas in the environment to make sure the building and physical premises are safe.
🔟 Review different scenarios to plan for an emergency and be prepared to respond.
